The Books
Which of the five books should you read first? The short answer is at the bottom of this page. Each volume stands on its own and assumes nothing about the others. Read together they are a single argument: that the world is not chaotic, that it is not steered by the people whose names you know, and that anyone willing to read what is already published can see roughly where it goes.

Book One
The 20 Laws of Game Theory
Power, Conflict, and World Order
Where the method is established. Twenty laws, from the dating market to the world's banking architecture.
What the twenty laws of Book One say
Book Two
The Final Laws of Geopolitical Game Theory
Chokepoints, AI, Empire, and the Hidden Logic of Power
The harder half, and the volume that completes the system.
The seven laws that complete the system
Book Three
Nash Equilibrium
The Hidden Law of Game Theory
The mechanism every law in the series shares. No mathematics.
Why stable outcomes can be bad for everyone
Book Four
The Rational Prophet
Game-Theory Predictions About Power, Money, War, and the World After 2030
The method turned forward, with a ledger so you can keep score.
How the method forecasts, and how to score it
Book Five
The Laws of Money
How the Money Game Is Really Played
The method goes down a level, into the money system every reader already lives inside.
Why the bank run, the hidden tax and the peg all run on the same rulesWhich one should you start with?
If you want the whole system, start at Book One. It builds the instrument on situations you can check against your own life before it is pointed at anything larger.
If you came for geopolitics, start at Book Two. It assumes the method but restates it in a page, and it goes straight to chokepoints, strangulation and grand strategy.
If you want the shortest route to the core idea, start at Book Three. It is the one volume you can hand to someone who has never read a word of the others.
If you want to know what happens next, start at Book Four — and check the predictions against the years as they arrive.
If you came for money — banking, inflation, currencies, start at Book Five. It assumes nothing from the other four, and names which of the twenty-seven laws powers each chapter as it goes.
